blackcrows is an independent french freeski brand from Chamonix. Founded in 2006 by pro freeskiers Camille Jaccoux and Bruno Compagnet, blackcrows were born out of a desire to collide beauty and efficiency into skis. We create obsessively design-driven objects that are uncompromising in performance and identity for contemporary skiing. We aim for the pleasure of the senses through freedom and adventure. We believe that ski culture is a window to the world.

WOODSpirit

WOODSpirit was born from the encounter between a passion for woodworking and a passion for downhill skiing. The project of Lucas Bessard, a young craftsman from the canton of Vaud, is simple: to return to the essence of the spirit of skiing by producing handmade skis, in association with nature. The skis are entirely developed and produced in the workshop that the artisan also built with his own hands in L’Isle, at the base of the Jura mountains in the Canton of Vaud. The aim of this small company is to meet the demands of ski enthusiasts by creating unique skis, both in shape and aesthetics. Lucas Bessard creates custom-made skis according to his customers’ particular desires, using choice ash from the French-speaking part of Switzerland, which he places at the heart of each of his creations.
