When is the Freeridedays.ch ?

The freeridedays.ch will take place on March 16th and 17th 2024.

What materials do I need to participate ?

You need your freeride skis/snowboards and a mountain backpack to carry your safety equipment. The safety equipment (shovel, probe, dva and harness) will be lent to you if you mention it when you register. You can bring your own equipment if you have it.

I saw that there is a ski/snowboard test center planned. Is it possible to rent skis or snowboards there ?
No. The test center is there to let participants and clients try out next year’s new products during a few runs. It is not possible to take a pair of skis or a snowboard for the whole day.

What do the suggested levels mean ?
The beginner level is for a skier who is comfortable on an ungroomed blue run. The intermediate level is for a skier who is comfortable on an ungroomed red run. The advanced level is for a skier who is comfortable on an ungroomed black run.

What happens if the weather is bad ?
In case of bad weather conditions at Glacier 3000 (e.g. closed ski area, avalanche risk, severely reduced visibility), we give ourselves the right to move the event to another ski area. If it is not possible to offer such a program, we will refund the registration fee in full.

I would like to participate and be in a group with my friends. Is this possible ?
When you register, mention the fact that you want to be together in the group. Ff your level matches, we will do our best to put you in the same group.

How are the groups set up ?
The groups are made up of a maximum of 6-7 participants, a mountain guide and a local rider. When forming the groups, we focus on the level of the person, then the tool used (ski or snowboard) and finally the languages spoken.

How does lunch work ?
You have several possibilities. There are several catering points during the day. There is the Botta restaurant located at 3’000 meters, a bar at the middle station in Cabane and the restaurant at the Col du Pillon. You can also take your own picnic. The group will decide during the day which option you choose.

What are the conditions of participation ?
You will find them under this link.
